Tallinn Architecture Biennale TAB11.03.2015
The Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB) is an international architecture and urban-planning forum. The Biennale continues the tradition of the Nordic-Baltic Architecture Triennale, which began in the 1990s, in an updated and fresh form. TAB is an architecture festival with a diverse programme that fosters local architectural culture. TAB encourages synergy between Estonian and foreign architects as well as between architects and the general public by way of creating contacts and exchanging ideas.
TAB programme consists of four main events and a diverse satellite programme.
Tallinn Architecture Biennale is organised by the Estonian Centre of Architecture and creatively led by TAB Advisory Board, which consists of representatives from the Union of Estonian Architects, Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn City, Ministry of Culture as well as former TAB curatorial teams. On the basis of a vision competition, the Board selects the curator or curatorial team for the Biennale every two years.
Curator Call for the 4th Tallinn Architecture Biennale TAB 2017 will be announced on January 15th.
